Becoming a Certified Flight Instructor-Airplane (CFI-A) isn’t just a career move, it’s a calling. At GFC, we train CFIs to be inspiring mentors, not just time-builders. You’ll gain the skills, structure, and confidence to train the next generation of pilots, all while improving your own mastery.

Our CFI program includes advanced ground and flight prep, teaching techniques, and learning from other CFIs who know the challenges and rewards of being a Flight Instructor. Plus, successful candidates may be invited to join our instruction team.

At GFC, our CFI-I track is mentorship-driven, using a combination of simulator and aircraft-based instruction, mock teaching scenarios, and real-world IFR practice. You’ll leave confident in your ability to teach in clouds, under pressure, and with precision.
