Fly on your time, when it works best for you. Learn from custom-built programming on aircraft with modern avionics to prepare you for the real world of aviation. No need to pay any extra membership fees — as a student, you’re the foundation of our aviation community.

WHY CHOOSE US?

No rigid formats.

No one-size-fits all programming.

No membership fees.

Just aviation training by San Diegans, for San Diegans.

We are a family-owned and operated flight school with top notch instructors. No out-of-town corporation, no fancy names, no franchise. Just Gillespie Field, Gillespie Flight Center, and you.

A WELCOMING AVIATION COMMUNITY.

You are a part of our team from day one.

From educational seminars to social events and pilot meetups, we’ve built a flight school that invites you in.

You’re not just enrolling in a program, you’re joining a community.
